Reviews for Prism 4D Ultralight Stunt Kite (Sports) I purchased this kite from Amazon when I was looking through their outdoor section for something fun to do on vacation. I wanted something light that would fit in my bag.

When I got it I was blown away with how cool all the gear was: the kite, the case, line set with straps, winder and directions. The pictures on amazon don't quite do justice to the real thing. The build quality and attention to detail is very impressive!

I was worried that I might have to buy something extra but was delighted to see it came with everything I needed for my first flight plus the cool carrying case.

I was able to get it together in just a few minutes with the great directions that came with it. The pictures for assembly were really helpful. It is also easy to take apart and put back in the case.

With the included instructions for first flight I got it in the air and kept it there with very little effort. What a blast! I flew for over an hour and it seemed like minutes. I did crash a few times but no causalities.

I flew this every chance I got and even looked up some of the cool tricks on the Prism web site which I am working on.
Reviews for Prism 4D Ultralight Stunt Kite (Sports) This is my first sport kite. I have never flown a sport kite. I watched some videos on the web and wanted to give it a try. I live in the Augusta,Ga. area and there is hardly any wind here in the summer. I purchased the 4D on a rain weekend trip to Charleston, SC. Sept.2010. After I got back home and got to try my new 4D in a light wind less than 6 mph it took off and hit the ground HARD but stayed togeather. I have flown this kite several times now and I am gitting where I can control it a little. I can not do any stunts yet but I will.
My last time out with my 4D I was flying when it hit the ground real HARD. Well the T broke in half. The T holds the spreaders in place without this part the kite will not fly. I went to the house got on the web went to the Prism web site and found out this is a problem with this kite. They have the part I needed for $2.49 + shipping and I would need to wait a week to get it. I wanted to fly my 4D now. I thunk about it. Went to auto parts store for some tubing no luck. Went to farm supply store and BINGO they had what I needed for $0.49. I was flying that afternoon. The part I got at the farm supply store is called a TENSION PIN size 5/32x1-1/2. It is made out of spring steal does not weight 1/4 of an oz. The spreaders fit perfect. It works!!!
This is a great kite makes very little noise lite pull and adjust the bridle it flys great in light or no wind!!!!

Reviews for Prism 4D Ultralight Stunt Kite (Sports) This is a great kite to have if the wind is flukey. You can get it in the air by backing up and a tiny breeze will sustain you doing tricks. Very agile and responsive. Nice carrying case too.

The nose fabric wore through kind of quick on the beach, though.
